Gentle handling. Precise processing. Quality preserved.

Designed for efficient fish harvesting, with vessel layouts and processing systems tailored to the operation. Fish intake, stunning, bleeding, cooling and storage are considered as one integrated process, supporting gentle handling, consistent product quality and efficient use of space and equipment.

HAV Stun & Bleed Series

Designed for: · Fish harvesting · Fish intake and transfer · Stunning and bleeding · RSW cooling · Onboard fish storage.

Capacity matched to the operation.

Tailor vessel size, tank volume and processing capacity to the intended harvesting operations, from compact vessels to larger, high-capacity solutions.

Modular design. Tailored capacity.

A modular design platform combines standardised design solutions with flexible deck arrangements and scalable processing systems, allowing vessel dimensions and capacities to be adapted to different operational requirements.

Fish welfare and product quality throughout.

Gentle fish transfer, effective stunning and bleeding, and controlled water flow and temperature help minimise stress and physical damage, supporting consistent product quality from fish intake to final storage.

Integrated handling and processing systems.

Fish handling equipment, stunning and bleeding systems, cooling and storage are integrated into the vessel layout to support efficient processing and controlled conditions throughout the harvesting operation.

Biosecurity throughout the operation.

Reduce the risk of disease transmission and cross-contamination through hygienic vessel arrangements, controlled water management and effective cleaning throughout the fish handling process.

Hygienic design. Controlled processes.

Piping arrangements, water management and integrated cleaning and disinfection systems are designed to support high biosecurity standards. Separation of clean and contaminated areas, together with controlled handling of process water and biological waste, helps maintain hygienic conditions throughout the operation.

Efficient vessel and processing operations.

Reduce energy consumption and improve fish handling and cooling efficiency through vessel and processing systems optimised for actual operating conditions.

Simulation-driven design optimisation.

Using HAV Ocean Lab and CFD simulations, we optimise hull lines for efficient hydrodynamics, piping systems for gentle fish transport and RSW tanks for effective cooling. Simulating realistic operating conditions helps reduce technical uncertainty before construction.
